January 2008
Hello everyone,
Do you like to sing? Do you have an interest in Jewish sacred music? By request, and because I've been considering it for a number of months, I am now [once again] forming an amateur vocal ensemble in Ottawa that will focus on Jewish spiritually-focused music. My previous work with this repertoire, culminating in our May 2007 concert "Awe-Inspiring Music From the Synagogue", was such a success -- musically and otherwise -- that I have tangibly felt the absence of this choral experience during the balance of 2007. It seems fitting, then, to launch a new venture for a new year and invite anyone both able and interested in exploring this music to join in on the fun.
You can expect to learn and make some wonderful music, meet friends new and old, and share all this with the community at large. Further details are outlined below. I hope you'll consider singing with us.
Regards,
Peter Pundy
